| The
Chancel Choir performs every Sunday morning
and for special services during the year.
Their repertoire ranges from Gospel, to
classical, contemporary and everything
in between. During Easter and Christmas
all members of the church are invited to
participate in the Easter and Christmas
Choir, where special music of the season
or a Cantata is performed. This Choir is
the backbone of the music program for our
church and is open to all, from the trained
vocalist to the shower singer. Remember
the Psalmist,
“Make a joyful noise!” This group practices
in the sanctuary. |

St. Peter’s has
three adult praise teams. Two practice
on alternately on Thursdays nights
at 7:00 pm and one practices weekly
on Wednesday nights at 6:00 pm. All
three teams practice in the sanctuary.
Our Praise and Worship Team leads
our contemporary service. Their job
is to help the congregation actively
participate in the worship service.
Whether it be a brand new praise song
that you have heard on Christian radio,
or a remake of an old hymn, excitement
and praise will be the key element
to it. This group is an auditioned
group. Involvement is subject to openings
and interview and audition with the
leader. |

|
The Bells of St. Peter’s utilize
handbells for praise, performing a variety
of music ranging from classic hymns to
more modern pieces. We currently have
a two Octave choir, but would love to
expand. There are opportunities for beginners
as well as advanced musicians. |

|
|
Gospel Truth is a true example of
church members sharing their God given
talents. These three ladies are friends
and church members who all have a wonderful
way of praising the Lord. They lift
their voices in song, and in so doing,
we all receive blessings.
We currently have a recorder trio
that has blessed our congregation by
exposing us to a wonderful array of
music. They are always looking for
additional members to come and join
them. In the fall we are planning a
recorder class for all who may interested
in learning or sharpening their skills. |

We will have Christmas
Choir rehearsals every Wednesday at 8:15
PM from September 5th through December
5th in preparation for the presentation
of a brand new music entitled “There
Is Peace in the World Tonight.” The
presentations will take place on December
8th and 9th at 7:00 PM. Come join in
this fun event. |
