As most of you know, the church in Puerto del Golpe is our sister church in Cuba which we support both financially and by sending teams to the country. Pastor Eglis corresponds periodically with our congregation through Carol Curtis, our "e-missionary", but you as a whole congregation never see the correspondence. We have decided it would be appropriate to include the emails from Pastor Eglis in the “ROCK “ and on our web site so all can keep abreast of the happenings there. His latest communication follows. We are using both the English and Spanish so our Spanish speaking members can also understand it.

“Hello, May God be with you and yours. Here everything is good. I recently returned from a retreat for pastoral families. We had a great time and God manifested himself greatly. Things here are a bit unstable. One day we have something and the next we don’t. That’s the way it’s been with the mail and the addresses I’ve sent you. This is the one we have right now and we should communicate using this one until we see what happens. Of the preparations, tell me something. When do you plan on coming? Did you receive the license? There is a lot of excitement about the idea of having you here with us again. We miss you a lot, and we rely on God that we will be together at some point. We will wait patiently on the Lord. Hola Dios este con tigo y todos los tuyos.
Por aqui todos estamos bien recien regresé de un retiro de Familia pastoral, la pasamos muy bien y Dios se manifestó en grande. las cosas aqui están un poco inceguras un dia tienes algo y al otro no tienes nada, eso es lo que me ha pasado con los correos y las diferentes direcciones que te he enviado, ahora solo tengo este y por aqui debemos comunicarnos hasta ver que pasa. De los preparatibos cuentame algon, cuando piesan venir ya resibieron el permiso del tesoro? por aqui hay mucha animación con la idea de tenerlos con nosotros, les extranamos muchisimo,pero confiamos en Dios estaremos junto en cualiquier momento, con paciencia esperamos en él. bueno saludos para todos y en especial a los pastores cuidate mucho y que Dios te bendiga.
