
John Sullivan has returned to St. Peter’s as the Director for the
Children’s Ministries. He and his family worshiped here for almost
ten years before he was called to serve at another local United Methodist
Church as a full time Director of Children’s Ministry 2 ½
years ago. John was born and raised in South Florida. He attended Palm
Beach Community College.
John and his wife Lynn have been married for 22 years. Lynn is a Property
Manager for Trammell Crow Company for Bank of America, where she began
her career with the bank in 1987. They have been blessed with two wonderful
children. Ashley, their 16 year old daughter attends a magnet school where
she is in an IB program. Ashley plays piano, oboe and alto saxophone,
and marches in her high school band. Kaleb a high energy 7 year old year
old loves swimming, soccer, skating on his heely’s and doing anything
outdoors. The family also consists of a another spoiled child; a 3 year
old schnauzer named Nikki.
John worked for Publix Supermarkets for over 14 years. During that time
he volunteered countless hours in the Palm Beach County School system,
where he read to classes; usually dressed in costume. He has been the
Cat In The Hat, a Sumo wrestler but is best known for Mr. Scarecrow. If
you’ve visited any of the local church’s Pumpkin Patch’s
you’ve probably seen him. In 2002 he was honored by Publix with
the “Mr. George” founder’s award for outstanding community
service.
John’s family loves taking road trips, camping and the great outdoors.
Lynn loves watching HGTV and likes to keep John busy with projects around
the house. John has a passion for flavored coffee. His favorite is southern
butter pecan Swiss mocha java French vanilla hazelnut amaretto Grande!!
