St.Peters Youth Calendar

High School Youth

Sunday Nights 7-8:30:

Looking for a place to belong? Where people know your name and care about you? Come to High School Youth Sunday nights. We meet in the Youth Room and hang out, chat, listen to music, play carpet ball, foosball, and ping-pong. Then we head to the gym and play some wild, crazy games together. After that we have a time of worship lead by our awesome band where you can sing and dance your praises to God. A message is delivered from the Word of God and prayer is spoken. It's a good night. We hope you can check it out! Also, feel free to attend Snack Supper 6:30-7 for $3 in fellowship hall.

The Church Has Left The Building

The 3rd Sunday of every month The Church Has Left The Building will occur 4:00-7:30. This is for ALL Youth and parents are encouraged to attend as well! Meet at church by 4:00 to sign up for a service project, then go out and do it! We are going to live out what we teach by sharing the love of Christ to those in our community through acts of service. Some examples of projects are: yard work for the elderly, visiting in a nursing home, cooking a meal at Quantum House, building a bike rack at a foster home, and more. Hope you can be a part of this movement!

Would you like to claim the name Christian? Every spring students who are in 6th grade and up are invited to register for confirmation. This is a once in a lifetime journey where you learn what it really means to be a follower of Jesus and to be a part of the church body. This process includes 12 lessons, a mission project, and a retreat. It's a very special spiritual experience, and it's also a lot of fun!

This once in a lifetime weekend is open to high school students. You'll spend three days with other people your age in worship, prayer, fellowship, creative expression, recreation, singing, and discussion. You'll experience the love of God through prayers and the acts of service from a loving support community. You'll hear talks, given by youth and adults, which focus on the needs of maturing youth, offer the message of the gospel and the friendship and example of Jesus Christ. Each day you'll hear five talks, followed by discussion; reflection, and expression of how these messages can encourage your personal faith. The discussions explore how friendship with Jesus can help you live out your faith with family, friends, and other people in your world. For more information go to:

Through C.R.O.S. Ministries we are able to glean produce once a month for the poor. If you believe in following Jesus, then you know how important it is that we serve. Wear some old clothes and join us Saturday mornings throughout the season (Dec.-April). You must have a gleaning form filled out to attend (just once per season). Bring a friend or two and help feed the hungry!
